Gentle Yoga
 
The Gentle Yoga class is for anyone that would like to find relief from tension in their body and calm a busy, thought filled mind.
 
This class is most suitable for people with back pain due to poor posture and weak backs, recovery from breast surgery or other physical limitations. Yoga practice in this class is slow and gentle and the focus is on tension release, lengthening and strengthening, conscious breathing and relaxation. We do mainly floor work and use support (bolsters, blankets, straps, block etc...) to assist the body into the postures as needed.
Students are given individual attention to assist them with their needs and are encouraged to work at their own pace.
