Inversions build core strength, strength & flexibility of the hips, shoulders/arms, wrists/hands, legs and trunk. Headstand & shoulderstand also have mental, emotional and physiological positive effects. They are challenging, exhilarating and fun.
We will focus on alignment and principles for practising these postures in a safe and effective way. An opportunity to explore, experience and understand various ways to get into these postures using props as well as lifting unaided.
These workshops are for students who have a regular yoga practice and would like to increase their understanding, gain practical knowledge and improve their practice of inversions These workshops are suitable for students who have been practising all the prep work and would like to attend Hatha 2 classes.
